Statement of Purpose

Growing up in today’s society must be difficult for most kids and teens.  Drugs, alcohol, and violence, seem to be almost everywhere. Because most parents are full-time employees, they may not have adequate amount of time to teach their kids, or teens, to stay away from these deadly temptations.

Now, the “Korean Martial Arts Academy” is in this area. The principle of our school is to believe in and to emphasize on modesty, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, courage, and indomitable spirit, especially for kids and teens.

That is, we intend to guide our youngsters to develop their own positive manner and to avoid anything that would reduce their mental growth or physical health by using Tae Kwon Do (and Hap Ki Do) training method. This training method will benefit our youngsters to achieve not only their highest physical ability, but also their mental discipline as well.

With a stronger and healthier body and mind, students will gain their self-confidence, self-motivation and self-esteem. Thus, this will help students to be the most productive and constructive citizens in society, which will bring all of us together in achieving the ultimate goal of peace and happiness
